Car fires have the potential to become ‘bombs on wheels’. Fuel tanks, drive lines, shock absorbers, and toxic fumes all pose threats to fire personnel. This class will inform students about vehicle construction, fuel types, danger zones, and fire attack.

Cancellation Policy Cody Fire School will refund cancellations received prior to 14 days from the start of the event. Later than that, we cannot make up for the costs incurred to hold a spot for students, and thus we can’t offer refunds after this time. Cancellations should be sent to the Cody Fire School email ‘codyfireschool@gmail.com’. Since we are 100% volunteer, we don’t have staff on site to take phone calls, and thus cancellations by phone will not be honored.
