Class Location:Cody Interagency Dispatch Center (2501 Wright Brothers Road Cody, WY 82414)
Please check in at the Cody Fire Hall before heading to the first day of class.
Target Group: Personnel desiring to become familiar with the basics of Wildland Fire dispatching, as well as those who wish to become EDRC qualified.
Notes: No pre-course work required. Students will need to bring a laptop to class.

Course Description: This course is designed to train potential Expanded Dispatch Recorder (EDRCs). It begins by providing an overview of the dispatch organization and the qualities of a successful dispatcher. The remainder of the course provides hands-on electronic resource tracking system experience by introducing dispatch concepts.

Course Pre-requisites: None. EDRC Task book is advantageous but not required.
