Advanced LPG Fires

Priority will be given to firefighters that have not taken this course previously. Please reach out to CVFD if you have taken the course recently and would like to be added to a waiting list.

The mechanics of LPG fires and the proper procedures for fire attack are covered in this 4-hour advanced night course. A classroom session consists of videos, class demonstrations, and handouts. Fire ground simulations, using different LPG props, are executed under supervision.

Required Gear: Structural Firefighter Gear & SCBA (each student must have their own full air bottle)
Pre-Requisites: Must have completed Basic LPG Fires at a previous Cody Fire School
Location: Training Center, no bus for Sat PM class
