This course is designed to give the student a working knowledge of modern fire behavior and fuels and the studies associated with it. We will also conduct hands-on live fire training to give students a firsthand look at how this knowledge can help with day to day operations on the fire ground.

Cancellation Policy Cody Fire School will refund cancellations received prior to 14 days from the start of the event. Later than that, we cannot make up for the costs incurred to hold a spot for students, and thus we can’t offer refunds after this time. Cancellations should be sent to the Cody Fire School email ‘codyfireschool@gmail.com’. Since we are 100% volunteer, we don’t have staff on site to take phone calls, and thus cancellations by phone will not be honored.
