Post Blast Investigation

An 8-hour class designed to provide a basic skillset to conduct the investigation of explosion scenes. The course includes: Basic Combustion; Explosion Chemistry and Dynamics; Types of explosions; Explosive Materials and Effects; and Methodology for Conducting Post-Blast Investigations, including Scene Documentation and Evidence Collection Techniques. Special emphasis is placed on natural and liquefied propane (LP) gas explosions, including gas systems and appliances. This course is tested.
