Forcible Entry (Sat. PM)

This 4-hour class will involve 1-hour of classroom that will introduce the student to types of forcible entry tools, basic doorway construction, locking mechanisms and techniques for gaining entry into commercial and residential occupancies. The 3-hour lab will involve three different stations consisting of: techniques for gaining access into inward/outward swinging doors, cutting techniques for gaining access into garage doors and finally a multiple angle circular saw/k12 prop designed to build the students confidence.

Required Gear: Structural Firefighter Gear & Eye Protection
