Firefighter Safety and Survival

This 8 hour class begins with a 4 hour lecture that illustrates many of the life threatening situations firefighter’s face when conditions deteriorate and firefighter’s find themselves at risk of immediate injury or death. The “hands-on” portion will demonstrate different techniques and evolutions that firefighters can utilize to successfully overcome and mitigate a Mayday situation. Such examples will include the Denver Langvardt drill.
