Confined Space Rescue Lab (Sat. PM)

Each year confined space accidents result in over 12000 injuries and 60 deaths.  This class will discuss the various hazards associated with “confined space” environments, and the various tasks that can be implemented to mitigate these risks to the rescuer. The hands-on portion will take place at an off-site location. Confidence and familiarity with airpacks is strongly recommended. This is an 8-hour course.  The lecture is Saturday 8am-12pm.  There are two lab sections, Sat. 1pm-5pm OR Sun. 8am-12pm.  Attendance at the lecture and ONE lab is REQUIRED for class completion.
