The fundamentals of SCBA are provided either as a review or to meet the requirements for Fire Fighter I certification in this 4-hour class. Non-toxic smoke is used in the ‘cold’ side of the Cody Burn Building as students negotiate a maze for practical experience in SCBA usage and basic search techniques.

Cancellation Policy Cody Fire School will refund cancellations received prior to 14 days from the start of the event. Later than that, we cannot make up for the costs incurred to hold a spot for students, and thus we can’t offer refunds after this time. Cancellations should be sent to the Cody Fire School email ‘codyfireschool@gmail.com’. Since we are 100% volunteer, we don’t have staff on site to take phone calls, and thus cancellations by phone will not be honored.
